The INFINI™ laser uses a novel combination of microneedling combined with radiofrequency (RF) energy to treat fine lines, wrinkles, and acne scars. Additionally, the microneedling RF technology can be effectively used to tighten loose crepe-like skin on the face and neck.
What INFINI™ treats:
- Wrinkles and Fine Lines
- Upper lip lines (smoker’s lines)
- Crepe-like Skin of the eyelids, face or neck.
- Acne scars and other textural abnormalities
- Skin Rejuvenation
What to expect during treatment:
After cleaning your skin, in most cases, a topical numbing cream will be applied for approximately an hour before treatment.
How INFINI™ works:
The Lutronic INFINI™ works by emitting thermal energy deep into your skin tissue. The High-Intensity Radio-frequency technology stimulates the collagen production response in your body to give your skin a youthful, refreshed glow.
How long treatment takes:
Typically Dr. Dubow will spend anywhere from 15 minutes to 1 hour with you depending on the treatment area.
Dr. Dubow will discuss your cosmetic goals with you to determine the number of treatments that you will likely need to achieve your desired results.
INFINI™ recovery time:
Depending on the condition being treated and the intensity of your treatment recovery time will vary from 2 to 10 days. You can expect the area to become red and some bruising may occur. Often a pattern of small squares will be seen at the treatment site. Keep the area clean and apply Aquaphor or other healing ointments that we prescribed at least twice daily. Keep the areas well protected from the sun with SPF 30 or greater sunblock.
How long your results will last:
Depending upon the severity and the condition being treated a series of 2 to 4 treatments may be recommended at intervals of 2 to 3 months. Dr. Dubow will be able to give you a better idea of your particular treatment plan at the time of consultation as well as after your first treatment. Results for acne and scar treatment are often permanent while maintenance treatments such as mild tightening and wrinkle treatments need to be repeated once every year or two in order to maintain results.
